As promised, here is the second card we created in last week's Seasonally Scattered class. It was fun to show all of the attendees a new technique that I picked up from Susan Itell.
It was really cool to get the multicolored look with this stamp, Ink the image in Crushed Curry. Dip a sponge dauber in a
Blackberry Bliss Classic Stampin' Pad. Then dab it all over the Crushed Curry. Ink another dauber in Old Olive and dab it all over the stamp. Press the stamp to your paper, and you have a fun, multicolored image! And, each image will look totally different.
(It would also be fun to try to the baby wipe technique with this card. Grab a baby wipe (put a protective surface underneath), and add drops of Stampin' Up!'s reinkers. You could use the colors listed above. Press the stamp to the baby wipe and then to the card.)
The other Stampin' Up! products used in this card include:
- Hardwood background stamp
- Oval Accent Bigz Clear
- 1/8-inch Old Olive Taffeta
- Pearl Basic Jewels colored with Stampin' Blendabilities
All of these products can be purchased 24/7 from my online store. Click here.
