Wow! It’s supposed to be almost 80 degrees here in Lincoln, Nebraska, today! So this card we made at last week’s class is very appropriate.
It’s been awhile since I used the Berry Basket Bigz Die. Instead of creating a full-blown basket, I used just a piece to create a flower basket for this spring card. Love it!
The flowers (stamped in Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, and Tempting Turquoise) are from the Crazy About You stamp set, as is the sentiment. (Scroll to the end of the post to see a graphic of this versatile set.) This set is soooo cool, because it contains a lot of separate words you can combine to make your own sentiments. The flowers have a coordinating punch — the Flower Medallion. That’s what makes it so easy to put this card together. I dry embossed the Basic Black cardstock with the Brick Wall Embossing Folder. I added a touch of linen thread and a rhinestone.
