If you're like me, you have overflowing stacks of Designer Series Paper, drawers full of card stock, shelves stocked with stamp sets and containers filled with ribbon and embellishments -- enough supplies to last several lifetimes! What to do with it all? Use it!
I recently contacted the Lincoln, Nebraska, office of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a nonprofit organization that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. At first, I thought maybe it could use cards to thank people who donated. But the program director had all kinds of other great ideas.
To start, we are going to make cards that can be given to wish kids and their families as they embark on their adventure. More than 100 children in Lincoln receive a wish each year. That is amazing!
This is one of the designs I made for that purpose. The Big Wish from the Spring Occasions Catalog is perfect for this purpose as is the Perfect Pennants stamp set.
How can you use your stash of supplies? Happy stamping!
